Introduction to coaching cricket (recognised by ICC Europe)

Date of course: 20 April 2014
Location: VIP School, Offerlaan 3, 9000 Gent Timing: 9am to 5pm
Target group: Teachers, parents, players; anyone who wishes to start coaching cricket and would like to move on to a ECB level 2 Cricket Coaching course.
Attendance: There is no limitation to number of seats per club or school. Cost: Free to all participants and clubs
Requirements: Please walk-in with paper, pen, and a cricket bat in your training shoes and clothing.
Trainer: Fazil Mahmoud (Certified ICC Level 3 Cricket Coach and Tutor of introduction to cricket course, Level 1 and Level 2 courses.) Coffee, water and tea will be provided by BCF. Candidates will have to walk-in with their own lunch.
Course Content and Objectives
At the end of the course participants would be able to;
- Coach juniors and beginners of all ages from schools and their clubs.
- Structure a training session eg. warm-up, main theme, game and cool down.
- Create a safe, enjoyable and challenging learning environment
- Have a basic umpiring knowledge.
- Understand technique and tactics in cricket.
- Know-how to score.
All successful participants of this course will receive a diploma certificate from Belgium Cricket Federation, holding equivalence to ICC Level 1 Cricket coaching course.
On successfully completing this course, you will join the team of BCF Cricket Officials.
