The Belgian Cricket Federation VZW/asbl

The Belgian Cricket Federation vzw / asbl (BCF) founded in the year 1990 celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2015. It launched a renewed School Cricket Programme this year to promote cricket in five cities in Belgium, while taking several new domestic cricket development activities.

Belgium is ranked 2nd in Europe for T20 and 11th for 50-over. In 2014 it moved upwards to the second position in the Division 2 in the 50-over World Cricket League.

The Belgian Cricket Federation vzw / asbl (BCF) is an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council, a founding Member of the European Cricket Council and a Member of the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee.

The Federation organizes a National level senior and junior League cricket, selects and manages national squads at all age levels, provides education, coaching and supports and assists its member clubs. The federation also supervises the activities of the Flemish region Cricket through the regional Federation ‘Cricket Vlaanderen’, and other non-flemish cricket in Belgium.
